An excerpt from “Finding Synesthesia”, a new collaborative work by pianist/composer Andy Milne and tap dancer/choreographer Heather Cornell. Premiered at the 2007 London Jazz Festival, “Finding Synesthesia” is a work that combines music and tap by exploring musical textures from around the globe.

Pianist/composer Andy Milne and harmonica virtuoso Gregoire Maret put their stamp on Dizzy Gillespie’s classic “Con Alma”, which was a significant vehicle in the development of their chemistry when Maret was a member of Milne’s group Dapp Theory. Its featured on their duo debut, “Scenarios” [ObliqSound - 2007] and Dapp Theory’s major label debut “Y’all Just Don’t Know” [Concord - 2003].
